Encrypted mail
Messages between Proton users are end-to-end encrypted, and stored mail is encrypted so that even Proton cannot read it.

A basic Proton account costs nothing and takes a couple of minutes to set up.
What TWME keeps, and how
- Email address: used to sign in and to contact you about your account.
- Mobile number: optional.
- Aadhaar number (members): stored encrypted. Only the last four digits are ever displayed, including to our own team.
- Password: stored as a secure one-way hash, never in readable form.
