Share what you're good at, receive what you need

Everyone has something to offer: an hour of tutoring, help with a repair, a home-cooked meal, a lift to the hospital. The Kindness Exchange will connect approved members so everyday skills and time can flow around the community.

Hands joined together

How it will work

  1. List what you can offer. Your skills, time or help, and when you are available.
  2. Ask for what you need. Members browse offers and reach out to each other.
  3. Give and receive. Each exchange is recorded as Kindness Hours, a simple record of the goodwill you have shared and received.

The ground rules

  • No cash value. Kindness Hours cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, products from our store, or any kind of payment.
  • Not for bills or debts. Kindness Hours are never a way to pay bills, loans or debts.
  • Between members. Exchanges are arranged between members at their own discretion. Meet in safe, public places and use common sense.
  • Kindness should be kind. No pressure, no discrimination and no misuse. Members who break these rules may lose access.
The Kindness Exchange will be open to approved members. Become a member now and you will be among the first to use it.
